
Chef de Partie, Japanese Fine Dining
This very well-respected flagship Japanese fine dining restaurant that has been the market leader in Mayfair for many years has an opportunity for a talented CDP to join the team. Menus are a blend of traditional and contemporary Japanese and Peruvian Nikkei cuisines including sushi, tempura and robata grill dishes, offering A La Carte and Omakase options over 2000 dishes will cross the pass during a busy service with everything cooked to order. The Head Chef has a very craft-led approach to cooking, the team is customer focused, well organised, quality driven and work hard, standards throughout are high.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable CDP, capable of running your section in the Hot Kitchen during service, coaching junior staff and maintaining exceptional company standards of food safety and presentation
Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience
- Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality,
- Relevant experience in a similar fresh food environment.
- Attention to detail
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Meticulous, organised and punctual
Our ideal candidate will, be resilient and self-aware with a “can do” attitude and above all keen to learn. Previous experience of Japanese cooking would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
