SOUS CHEF JAPANESE FINE DINING RESTAURANT

 

My client is a prestige fine dining Japanese restaurant. We have a vacancy for an experienced Sous Chef to join the team.

The restaurant is a showcase for contemporary Japanese cuisine with the accent on the finest ingredients, innovative presentation and intense flavours. Standards throughout are high.  Duties will include hot kitchen, Robata and Sushi work, supervising other chefs and running the kitchen when required.

Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience

  • Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality,
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience Japanese fine dining
  • Creative flair
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A high level of spoken English

We are looking for an enthusiastic chef with a sound knowledge of Japanese cuisine, excellent knife work and a real passion for cooking.

45 hours week

Salary: Up to £32,000

Live-in accommodation is available
