SOUS CHEF, HOTEL, BRASSERIE & FUNCTION SUITES

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and well organised Sous Chef for this busy 85 bed Hotel. Facilities include a 90-cover branded brasserie, conference and banqueting for 200, a busy wedding portfolio, Spa & Gym. The hotel also has a strong afternoon tea trade.

As Sous Chef your key responsibilities will be:

  • Support the Head Chef to ensure that every aspect of the service runs smoothly
  • Run the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Kitchen management duties, stock control, wastage, hygiene etc.
  • Compliance with all statutory legislation & regulations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient professional chef with both brasserie and function experience.

Salary: £9.50 an hour + service charge

48 hours over 5 days
