This food delivery business operating from a temporary kitchen in SW London is looking for a reliable Sous Chef to strengthen the team and step up to running the kitchen when it moves to permanent premises in the summer. The current menu is mainly fried chicken, but the owners have plans to extend the menu to offer other brands from the same unit. The kitchen currently operates from 11.30am to 10pm 7 days a week and the weekends are particularly busy.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain a consistently high standard of cooking and hit delivery time targets
  • Run the kitchen when left in charge
  • Ensure that all food is travel friendly and packed to company standards
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations & legislation including Covid-19 regulations

 

We are looking for a professional chef with previous experience of delivery-only kitchens and strong brand awareness, good attention to detail, calm under pressure and comfortable working with the owners and a small team.

Some kitchen management experience would be an advantage

Cloud Kitchen experience preferred but not essential.

Up to £28,000 relevant to experience
