Pastry Sous Chef
This group of luxury pastry shops with several outlets in central London is looking for a professional pastry sous chef to join the team in the central production kitchen. Led by a Michelin star pastry chef the company produces choux, eclairs and chouquette products hand-finished to a very high standard. Flavours, finishes and presentation are all exceptional.
Duties will include the preparation of creams, flavours and glazes, baking, finishing and filling items by hand, managing sections of the kitchen to ensure that production targets are met and supervising and training junior staff.
You will be expected to work closely with the head of production, upholding company quality assurance standards at all times.
We are looking for an enthusiastic professional pastry chef with experience of producing and finishing luxury pastry items to Michelin star level
5 straight shifts, mainly daytime, no late evenings, 2 consecutive days off each week
Salary up to £33,000
