PASTRY CHEF DE PARTIE
Immediate vacancy for a Pastry CDP for a multi award-winning 100 cover vegetarian & vegan restaurant. The restaurant has a reputation for serving a very high-quality unique product, offering great experience in vegetarian and vegan cuisine, as well as expert training in dietary restrictive cooking. The restaurant also offers a range of retail products and operates a successful outside catering business too. Menus are fresh, seasonal and innovative, standards throughout are high.
As Pastry CDP you will be expected to organise your own prep, run the pastry section during service and work with the Head Chef on menu development and new ideas.
Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience
- Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality,
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the pastry section
- Creative flair
- Excellent attention to detail
We are looking for an enthusiastic chef with good pastry experience, up to date with industry trends and dietary needs with a flexible “can do” attitude to work and a real passion for cooking; adaptable, punctual and self-aware.
4 x 8-hour shifts +1 double shift & 2 days off
Salary: £22,500 per annum + tips
