Kitchen Manager Motorway Hotel Restaurant
This international hotel brand has an immediate vacancy for a Head Chef/Kitchen manager at their hotel on the M25 in Surrey.
This high-volume all-day restaurant serves breakfast and dinner menus include the pub classics, steaks and meat from the grill, pizzas, curries, salads and sides etc. Food is a mix of fresh and frozen with some items (desserts) ready-made.
As Kitchen Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of your kitchen including;
- All food production, ordering, stock management & wastage
- Quality assurance and maintaining the brand standard
- Managing and developing the team through training
- Compliance with company & statutory regulations & legislation.
- Managing the food cost in line with budget
- Food safety & hygiene
The ideal candidate will be a reliable, even-tempered professional chef with appropriate qualifications and /or relevant industry experience and must be comfortable working within the brand. You will be expected to lead and develop your kitchen team and must be capable of managing this busy high volume all day branded outlet to the required brand standard.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable chef with good all-round skills, punctual, customer focused and self aware. Previous experience in a high-volume branded outlet would be an advantage.
Shifts are 5.30 to 12.30 and 4.00 to 11.00pm
Own transport is essential due to location
