Kitchen Manager Motorway Hotel & Restaurant
This international hotel brand has an immediate vacancy for a Kitchen Manager at their hotel on the A14 near Cambridge.
This high-volume family restaurant serves breakfast and evening meals that include the pub classics, steaks, salads and sides, a children’s menu etc. Food is a mix of fresh and frozen with some items ready-made.
As Kitchen Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of your kitchen including;
- All food production, ordering, stock management & wastage
- Quality assurance and maintaining the brand standard
- Staff training & retention
- Compliance with company & statutory regulations & legislation.
- Managing the food cost in line with budget
- Food safety & hygiene
The ideal candidate will be a reliable, even-tempered professional chef with appropriate qualifications and /or relevant industry experience and must be comfortable working within the brand. You will be expected to lead and develop your kitchen team and must be capable of managing this busy high volume all day branded outlet to the required brand standard.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable chef with good all round skills, punctual, customer focused and self-aware. Previous experience in a high-volume branded outlet would be an advantage.
Salary: £24,000 (37.5 hours)
Staff meals & uniform provided
Straight shifts: 5:30am to 2:00pm and 3:00pm to 23:30pm
Own Transport is essential due to location
CDP or Commis Chef also required
