Detroit Style Pizza Chef
We have an immediate vacancy for a well organised and quality driven Pizza Chef to run the kitchen of a new franchise serving a pub and Deliveroo.
Pizzas are Detroit style. High hydration doughs baked in tins. Light base with lots of toppings, all sauces are homemade. The kitchen also produces some pulled meats, a very good Mac and Cheese and some fried chicken. Menu packs, HACCP and kitchen operations manual are all in place
Duties will include;
- Following spec.
- Preparing dough and toppings
- Cooking Pizzas to order
- Looking after kitchen H+S Daily
- Ordering, Stocktake & general kitchen management
Required skills & experience:
- Dough experience is essential
- Passion for pizza, or a passion for fast casual.
- Good organisation and self-discipline.
- Competent following dish specification, attention to detail.
- Happy to get involved; there is no dishwasher or KP, so it’s very much for self-starters and completer finishers.
We are looking for a well organised and enthusiastic chef with good experience of high hydration dough and pizza work. Happy to work in a small team or alone, someone who cares about every aspect of their work.
40 hours a week, mainly evenings
Salary: Up to £30,000 for the right candidate
