Craft Beer Microbrewery Taproom Manager

This ethical craft beer micro-brewery is looking for an experienced and self-motivated manager to take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of their onsite taproom and restaurant. The Taproom has seating for up to 60 covers + an outside terrace when weather permits. The service is craft beers, ethical & locally sourced wines and spirits, proper coffee, house pizzas, sandwiches, pastries, and snacks. The company also host events, private functions, and charity fund raisers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Taproom team from the front.
  • Ensure excellent service is provided
  • Deliver forecasts and budgets from the till system, Epos Now (training provided)
  • Staff training & development
  • Organise and clean the bar (including line cleaning)
  • Stock management and ordering
  • Payroll, P&L reports, H&S etc
  • Ensure compliance with all current regulations and legislation.


Required skills & experience:

  • Relevant experience in bar/restaurant management
  • Full Clean Driving License
  • Personal Licence holder
  • Barista training
  • Enthusiasm for craft beer and brewing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Google Workspace/Outlook experience essential for rotas, emails, daily diary
  • Financial analysis and reporting


We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable FOH manager capable of delivering a relaxed yet professional F&B operation, ensuring the business is run efficiently and that sales targets are met. You must be comfortable taking direction from the business owners and be able to operate as a member of a management team working to the same end goals, with customer experience being paramount.

The company is heavily invested in conservation and the environment, and a percentage of every sale goes directly to their nominated charity partners helping support wildlife conservation and endangered species across the globe.
