GRILL CHEF COUNTRY PUB & RESTAURANT
This well-respected family run country pub and restaurant has an immediate vacancy for an experienced and reliable Grill Chef to strengthen the team. Menus include Chateaubriand and Tomahawk steaks, grilled for 2, plus a full range of other meats and poultry with responsible food provenance and seasonality key elements to the menu. The pub also holds regular themed nights and special events and has a particularly strong Sunday lunch trade.
Your main responsibility will be running the chargrill to ensure that all meats are perfectly cooked, but you will also be expected to work elsewhere in the kitchen including the stove and pass reporting directly to the Head Chef.
We are looking for an enthusiastic professional chef with several years’ experience grilling high quality fresh meat to order with excellent attention to detail and a passion for food.
5-day week (split shifts)
Own transport is essential due to location.
Interviews will include a cooking trial
Salary: up to £25,000 + Tips
