Job Description

We have an immediate vacancy for a talented Sous Chef with experience of fine dining for a luxury après-ski destination venue and private members club in an exclusive village in the Swiss Alps. The venue offers sophisticated fine dining, clubhouse bar and members facilities, the 45-cover restaurant serves a very high standard of food with immaculate service. There is also a simpler menu available in the bar/lounge and a full portfolio of exclusive private parties and events.
Duties will include:
• Support the Head Chef to ensure that every aspect of the service runs smoothly
• Run the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
• Kitchen management duties, stock control, wastage, hygiene etc.
• Compliance with all statutory legislation & regulations.
• Maintain exceptional standards of quality assurance, food prep and cooking

We are looking for a level-headed customer focused professional chef with the skill set to move about the kitchen as needed. The Head Chef has an impeccable fine dining background, standards throughout are high.

This is an immediate start for the current winter ski season finishing in April
Package up to CHF 5,000 a month for a 48-hour week.
This is not a live-in job but help with accommodation is available.
